Window Genie Announces Grand Opening in Kansas City, MO

Window Genie welcomes Matthew Johnson to the team. Johnson will operate the fourth Window Genie franchise in Kansas City; the first on the Missouri side, in Jackson County.

Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) October 15, 2013 - Window Genie is the leader in home services offering window cleaning, window tinting, pressure washing, gutter cleaning and much more. Window Genie announces the grand opening of their newest location in Jackson County, MO on Monday October 21st. Matthew Johnson is the owner/operator. This is Window Genie's fourth franchise in the Kansas City area, first on the Missouri side.

Before joining the Window Genie team, Johnson managed an architectural sheet metal firm in Kansas City. As the owner of the business began to think about retiring, Johnson began to think about his next move. "I had always wanted to be my own boss. Since I'm a first time business owner I knew purchasing a franchise was the way to go," he said.

Johnson began doing research on his own, reading about franchise opportunities on entrepreneur.com and similar sites. After much research and becoming familiar with the opportunities he was interested in and could afford to start up, he was contacted by Window Genie Regional Developer, Phil Cansler. "Working with Phil helped me better understand the Window Genie model. I had already read incredible reviews and seen that Window Genie ranked high in franchisee satisfaction and success, but it was great hearing directly from someone involved in the business. What really excited me about Window Genie was the potential to offer so many different kinds of services. With the territory I was looking to purchase and the variety of services I would be offering, I knew there would be something for everybody."

After working with Cansler for a few weeks, Johnson met the corporate team via Skype at Window Genie's headquarters in Cincinnati, OH. "It was great to be able to meet and speak with the support team, the people I'd have on my side as a Window Genie owner."

Johnson also spoke with some of Window Genie's existing franchise owners. "I was already pretty sure Window Genie was the best fit, but hearing from these guys, especially those so close by in Kansas City, really sealed the deal for me. Window Genie owners are happy and feel they get the support they need from the corporate team. Like I said, as a first time business owner, that was going to be really important when choosing a franchise."

Johnson is excited to open his business and start building a customer base. "I'm excited to get past the initial stage of setting up and getting into a routine so I can really get the business rolling," he said.
