Latin American Employment Landscape Offers Unparalled Opportunity

Executive search firm MRINetwork Brasil Group helps companies stay on top of the wave of economic stability and sustained growth.

Sao Paulo, Brazil (PRWEB) October 16, 2013 - In Brazil’s thriving job market, employers are increasingly using recruiting firms and headhunters to locate top candidates. A recent study conducted by FLOW, in partnership with SONNE Branding revealed that almost 76 pc of Brazilian employers have hired headhunting companies to attract professional talent to their companies. MRINetwork Brasil Group, an affiliate of MRINetwork®, one of the world’s largest executive search and recruitment organizations, is uniquely positioned to meet growing hiring demands because of its relationships with bilingual management-level and executive-level candidates. The recruitment team at MRINetwork Brasil Group also speaks Spanish, English and Portuguese, providing the added benefit of being able to connect with employers and candidates throughout Latin America and beyond.

"Our job market is attractive to candidates outside of the region who can’t find opportunities that match their qualifications," says Miriam Arenas, commercial director of MRINetwork Brasil Group. "Oil companies, big agricultural outfits and factories have long invested in Latin America, but now job seekers are also looking to our region to make an investment in their careers."

MRINetwork Brasil Group recruiters are experts in helping companies find the people they need by connecting them with candidates who are looking for the next opportunity, specifically in the IT, telecom, energy, biotech and pharmaceutical industries. "Our competitive advantage over other local recruiting organizations stems from our multilingual status," says Arenas. "Because of our extensive network of Hispanic professional associations, we have relationships with many candidates who speak a second language, something that is often difficult to find. Most headhunters in Brazil only speak Portuguese, so they are confined to only being able to source opportunities in Brazil. Our multilingual capabilities provide us access to more clients and work opportunities for candidates."

The use of search consultants is growing in Latin America, reports Arenas. She cites the recent FLOW/SONNE Branding study which reports 59 pc of the CEOs, CFOs, business owners and managers said the advantages of using a consultant are agility and the ability to be more dynamic in the hiring process. The quality of the candidates and the expertise of the recruiters were also highly ranked.

Another advantage of engaging the services of a professional, according to Arenas, is that companies have to navigate carefully through local labor laws, which can vary by country or region. "Our labor and employment laws reflect the political history, traditions and values of the respective country," she says, "and offer an environment quite different from that which businesses in the U.S. are accustomed to." MRINetwork Brasil Group, she notes, is knowledgeable about how to navigate these laws and help clients avoid potential risk.

"Latin America is open for business and hiring," concludes Arenas. "As our strength as an economic force continues to grow, our mission is to ensure that our clients and candidates are equally positioned to benefit from our thriving job market."
