In-home caregiving chain Assisting Hands Home Care has opened its 31st franchise location in Tampa Bay, Florida.

October 21, 2013 // Franchising.com // Assisting Hands Tampa Bay opened in September 2013 by Oneida Westhoff and Russell Corvin, business partners who realized the demand for caregiving services. It is located at 15310 Amberly Drive, Suite 250-66 in Tampa, Florida and will serve Tampa Bay.

"I have always been passionate about helping others, and I am truly excited about the opportunity give back to the community," said Russell Corvin, co-owner of Assisting Hands Tampa Bay. "Our goal at Assisting Hands Tampa Bay is to provide the best possible in-home care to the senior population we serve."

Westhoff’s passion to help others is a personal one that began at home with the healthcare of her parents. "Being able to identify with the family struggle of a loved one gave me the fortitude and desire to provide for better care within the Tampa Bay community," said Westhoff, co-owner of Assisting Hands Tampa Bay.

Westhoff and Corvin looked at several caregiving franchises, and they chose Assisting Hands because of the company’s franchisee support and desire to help people. "Assisting Hands is more than a business," said Westhoff. "The company is family oriented and sincerely cares about people." They believe the quality of their caregivers, combined with customer service will differentiate Assisting Hands Tampa Bay from other in-home, non-medical caregiving services in the area.
