Jeanne Townsend Brings Relocation Experience, Love for Estate Sales to New Caring Transitions Franchise

Jeanne Townsend, a long-time business owner, recently opened Caring Transitions of Palm Springs, CA

Palm Springs, CA (PRWEB) October 24, 2013 - When Jeanne Townsend and her husband Jayson moved to Palm Springs to care for an ill family member, she found herself looking for a new business opportunity.

"We had owned an auto detailing business, but that’s not the kind of company you want to run in Palm Springs when it’s 120 degrees in the summer, so I started to look for another small business. I found Caring Transitions and it was a perfect fit for me and my family," Townsend said.

Townsend recently launched Caring Transitions of Palm Springs.

The Caring Transitions franchise was founded in 2006 and specializes in customized transition and relocation planning. Townsend can help with everything from home organization and staging for resale to online estate auction services and moving coordination. In addition to her time as a business owner, Townsend brings experience in relocation from her background in human resources and a love for estate sales to her new business.

"Palm Springs is a semi-retired community and many people live here during the winter and rent or own houses elsewhere for the rest of the year. The demographics really support having a business like this in our community," Townsend said. "For many people – downsizing, moving into a senior community, selling a family home – can be a really difficult time. I’m here to help with that. People need someone they can trust to help with their estate sales and relocations."

Townsend, who also volunteers for the Bassett Hound Rescue of Southern California, says the online auction element of Caring Transitions could be especially attractive to the Palm Springs area.

"Many of the communities and condos here are gated, so you can’t have the typical have-everyone-come-through-the-house estate sale. I think residents here will really appreciate the unique service we can provide with the online auction," she said.

Caring Transitions of Palm Springs serves Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells and La Quinta. To learn how Caring Transitions can serve you, visit http://estatemovepalmsprings.com or contact Townsend at (760)600-5092 or JTownsend(at)CaringTransitions(dot)net.
