October 29, 2013 // Franchising.com // Sydney, Australia - InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has opened the 146-room Holiday Inn Warwick Farm in south west Sydney. The previously-named Sunnybrook Hotel has benefited from a multimillion-dollar makeover and refurbishment to become Holiday Inn Warwick Farm.

Located at 355 Hume Highway Warwick Farm, the hotel is within easy access to a number of commercial and business park precincts and will meet the needs of the growing commercial and leisure based industries of south west Sydney. The hotel facilities include an all-day dining restaurant, gymnasium, meetings and events centre, heated outdoor swimming pool, a tavern adjacent to the hotel with gaming facilities, and generous onsite parking.

The hotel’s guest rooms and restaurant, which were fully refurbished in the last 12 months, feature classic décor and comfortable furnishings. The hotel gymnasium and swimming pool have been upgraded, and work is commencing on upgrading the adjoining Oscars Tavern and the meeting and events centre (both due for completion in mid-2014).

The hotel’s event facilities will include three new conference rooms and will be able to provide meetings and ballroom space for both the local corporate and leisure markets. The adjacent event centre will be completely refurbished and will be able to host up to 700 people for banquets and entertainment.

A key benefit for guests of the hotel is its proximity to the suburbs of Liverpool, Chipping Norton, Cabramatta and Moorebank, as well as to the leisure attractions of Warwick Farm Racecourse and Warwick Farm Polo Fields.
