Atlanta-Based Kids 'R' Kids Learning Academies Sets its Sights on Global Expansion in 2014

Nationally Accredited Early Education Franchise Outlines Plans to Expand Both Domestically and Abroad

October 31, 2013 // Franchising.com // Atlanta - What began as one school in Doraville, Georgia in 1985 has since expanded to 160 Kids 'R' Kids Learning Academies in 14 states… and growing. With plans underway to introduce its unique childcare and early education concept for the first time to families in New Jersey, New York, Washington D.C., Virginia and Colorado over the course of 2014, the company also intends to add new schools in cities where Kids 'R' Kids already has a solid footprint such as Tampa, Florida and Dallas, Texas. Perhaps the most exciting development on the 2014 horizon for Kids 'R' Kids is the company’s proposed expansion abroad. After nearly five years in the planning stage, Kids 'R' Kids Learning Academies will soon begin popping up all around the globe – including locations in Bombay, New Delhi, and Bangalore in India, Chile in South America, Istanbul in Turkey, and Beijing, Shanghai, Buton, Jinan, and Chengdu in China.

What is a sprawling 1-story floorplan here in our domestic schools will be a 2- to 4-story facility in populous cities in Asia where land is difficult to come by. However, the concept at the heart of Kids 'R' Kids Learning Academies – whether we’re talking about Atlanta, Georgia or Beijing, China – will remain the same."
