CPR Cell Phone Repair "Answers the Call" in Vernon Hills

Cell Phone & Electronics Repair Shop Opens Location in Vernon Hills, Celebrates Success

November 04, 2013 // Franchising.com // Vernon Hills, IL. – Admittedly or not, we are a society dependent on our phones and electronic devices. With the cell phone repair segment accelerating as a multi-billion dollar industry, it’s obvious that our ability to stay connected through the more than 325 million wireless contracts in the US is not something we consider to be a luxury anymore, but a necessity. Ensuring that Lake County stays connected, the pioneer of the electronics repair sector opened a location in the Village Commons Shopping Center.

Celebrating their first opening and the warm welcome they’ve already received in Vernon Hills, owners and Libertyville locals, Fernando and Gina Ferrera are hosting an official grand opening event that will kick off on Thursday November 7th with a ribbon cutting by the Chamber of Commerce at 11:30am. Joining them for this special occasion will be Mayor Roger Byrne. From Thursday through Saturday, CPR will be celebrating with their customers and community, offering a gift with purchase and raffle for the chance to win one of many prizes, including an iPad Mini, Samsung Galaxy, game system, and media streamer such as Roku or Apple TV. Catered by local restaurants in the community, the event will also serve as a fundraiser for a cause near to the Ferrera’s hearts, a service trip to Appalachia.

"As consumers, our mobile devices have become extensions of ourselves and we have become so dependent on our ‘digital lives’ that a damaged cell phone can leave us helpless," said Gina Ferrera. "We know how important it is for friends and family to stay connected in this community, and we are so happy to be able to provide the solution to the problem that arises when that connectivity is broken."

Lake County’s new go-to destination for repairs features a same-day service desk and a staff of highly-skilled technicians able to service a multitude of electronic devices including cell phones, gaming systems, mp3 players, tablets and other personal electronics. CPR also offers a wide selection of professionally refurbished phones, tablets and other electronic devices and accessories. Specializing in broken screens, charging ports, water damage, and much more, CPR has the capability of fully restoring damaged devices in-store and usually in about an hour.

"Libertyville locals, Fernando and Gina know the consumers of this community because their family is a part of it," said Jeff Gasner, Co-Owner and Chief Development Officer of CPR Cell Phone Repair. "This new CPR location in Vernon Hills provides an ideal outlet to serve the North suburbs of Chicago, making sure the community stays connected."

Vernon Hills’ new CPR Cell Phone Repair located at 278 Village Commons Shopping Center near the Hobby Lobby is open Monday through Friday from 10am - 7pm and Saturday from 10am - 5pm. For more information, visit www.cpr-vernonhills.com or call 847-463-7407.
