Giant Tiger's International Man of the Year Contest

OTTAWA, ONTARIO - (Marketwired - Nov. 4, 2013) - In honour of International Men's Day, Giant Tiger Stores Limited is pleased to announce the Giant Tiger International Man of the Year contest. Until November 18th, enter on-line on the Giant Tiger Facebook page and tell us why your entry should win the International man of the Year Contest. What impact has this man had on your life and those in his life? A brief write up and supporting examples are required.

In addition to the individual prizes a $1,000 donation to Ride for Dad will be made on behalf of the winners. Ride for Dad raises funds to save men's lives by supporting prostate cancer research and raising public awareness of the disease. Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed men's cancer in Canada. It affects one in seven men, their families and loved ones.

Prizes are awarded as follows:

• First Prize: $500 in Giant Tiger gift cards plus a Dove Gym Bag for the winner
• Second Prize: $300 in Giant Tiger gift cards plus a Dove Gym Bag for the winner
• Third Prize: $200 in Giant Tiger gift cards plus a Dove Gym Bag for the winner
• $1,000 will be donated to Ride for Dad on behalf of all winners
