Menchie’s Offers Free Frozen Yogurt To Military On Veterans Day
November 05, 2013 // Franchising.com // LOS ANGELES – Menchie’s, North America’s largest self-serve frozen yogurt franchise, is showing gratitude by offering free six ounce frozen yogurt cups to all veterans and active duty in honor of Veterans Day on Monday, Nov. 11.
Prior to joining Menchie’s, Amit Kleinberger, CEO of Menchie’s, served as a sergeant in the armed forces in an infantry combat unit. Kleinberger’s military experience helped him hone the determination and leadership skills required to venture out and start his own business. For Veterans Day, Kleinberger is looking forward to saluting veterans and current servicemen and women by treating them with a free cup of premium yogurt with delicious toppings.
"As a veteran, I am grateful for everyone who volunteers their courage, hard-work and dedication to serve our country," said Kleinberger, CEO of Menchie’s. "We welcome veterans and all active duty to stop by Menchie’s and enjoy their free frozen yogurt as a small token of our appreciation."
Menchie’s will offer free yogurt all day to military personnel. To receive the offer, veterans will need to provide a military ID or dress in uniform.
