California franchise owners embark on a second career in the senior living referral industry.

(PRWEB) November 13, 2013 - Terri Harvey and her husband Michael are embarking on a second career in the senior healthcare industry as CarePatrol franchise owners in the San Gabriel Valley in California. After working as an educational publisher and an executive for Xerox respectively, they wanted to continue to earn an income while giving back to the community, and do so by helping individuals without an advocate find appropriate senior living. An experience with a family member who needed to be placed in an assisted living facility also inspired the Harvey’s to become involved in the senior health care referral business.

About The Harvey’s CarePatrol

The Harvey’s CarePatrol franchise opened in April of 2013; they make sure to work in conjunction with several skilled nursing facilities and network with a variety of healthcare professionals, including their local Alzheimer’s Association. They tour and inspect every facility and work with the State Health Board regarding the facilities in which they place their clients. They maintain a relationship with the local Department of Health and Human Services concerning licensing and inspection of providers to become aware of any complaints or problems a location has had, to ensure that they only refer their clients to the best facilities.
