Fresh Healthy Vending, International Inc. Reports October Sales Growth

And an Addition of 74 Secured Locations and Appointment of Five New Franchisees

With the additional franchisees, the Nation’s healthy vending leader will increase its presence in Texas, South Carolina, Pennsylvania and Indiana

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) November 13, 2013 - Fresh Healthy Vending International, Inc. (OTC Markets: VEND), North America's leading healthy vending franchisor, today reported the addition of five new franchisees and 74 newly secured locations in the month of October. This brings the total number of appointed Fresh Healthy Vending franchisees to over 205.

With locations secured by Fresh Healthy Vending International, Inc., the five new franchise owners will each manage machines in various locations throughout their territories.

Neil Watko and his two sons will manage 11 machines in Pittsburgh/Allegheny County, Pa. With a 35-year sales background, Neil prides his family in being health-oriented and active, and is excited to bring the first healthy vending machines to their community.

In Dallas, Jim Scofield has purchased 11 machines to encourage a healthy lifestyle movement for others in his area, after recently focusing on the importance of healthy eating in his own life and making drastic strides for his well-being.

Bryan and Dana Boutwell, in Fort Mill, S.C., found Fresh Healthy Vending through news of another local franchisee and will use the placement of their five healthy vending machines to further their message of healthy lifestyles throughout their community.

Other franchisees include Roy and Jill Bodinus, in Noblesville, Ind., with six machines, and Bob Schell, in South Bend, Ind., with five machines.

The 38 machines sold in October represent a total of $386,000 in future revenues for the company once Fresh Healthy Vending secures locations and installs machines for these franchises. Additionally, Fresh Healthy Vending collected approximately $180,000 in balance payments from current franchisees for whom locations have been obtained and machines will be installed.

“We are extremely proud of our sales successes in October, with both the secured locations across the country and addition of franchisees who are not only passionate about the business side of Fresh Healthy Vending, but also genuinely looking to make a positive change in their regions,” said Alex Kennedy, CEO of Fresh Healthy Vending. “With franchisees as the backbone of the business, Fresh Healthy Vending provides opportunities that can be described as a ‘cause beyond financial benefit,’ which tie franchisees to a socially-responsible cause that is making for a healthier nation, one community at a time.”

In conjunction with the acquisition of the new franchises this October, Fresh Healthy Vending added two new territory managers to its team. Lauren Turner and Sherry Barbot will work to secure locations for current and new franchisees, as well as add to the thousands of locations across the U.S. with healthy snack options from Fresh Healthy Vending machines.

As the first and largest healthy vending company in America, Fresh Healthy Vending is unique in providing a range of products that meet and exceed the USDA standards. Machines are stocked with all-natural, organic and preservative-free snacks and beverages ensuring that nutrient-rich selections are available. Gluten-free, nut-free and kosher products are among the 6,000 choices.

The Fresh Healthy Vending machine locations secured in October are some of more than 2,000 locations throughout North America, with locations in office break rooms, school campuses, community centers, shopping malls, hospitals and more.

In addition to the healthier vending machines’ snacks and beverages, Fresh Healthy Vending also produces Fresh Healthy Café: a vending machine that distributes gourmet organic coffee drinks together with signature healthy snack options. In September, Fresh Healthy Vending announced the launch of its Fresh Healthy Vending Touch machine: the first-ever digital healthy vending machine. The interactive, fully customizable machine boasts a 46-inch, 3D touchscreen powered by Intel Processor. As of October 2013, Fresh Healthy Vending has appointed over 200 franchisees.
