Granite Transformations Launches its First-Ever Giving Back Initiative, "Mission: Lend A Hand" on Veterans Day

National Social Media Campaign in Support of Injured War Veterans to Coincide with Local Efforts

November 15, 2013 // Franchising.com // MIRAMAR, FL – In honor of Veterans Day and the upcoming holiday season, Granite Transformations, a global full-service home and business remodeling resource known for its revolutionary resurfacing process, will launch its first-ever national charitable initiative, "Mission: Lend A Hand" today. This giving-back inspired effort will kick-off with a Facebook campaign to raise funds for Homes for Our Troops followed by local community activities led by franchise owners and their employees to rally behind local causes.

Starting today, people are encouraged to "like" the Granite Transformations corporate Facebook page and in response the company has pledged to donate $1 for the first 5,000 new "likes" now through Dec. 1, 2013 to Homes for Our Troops, a non-profit organization founded in 2004 to provide aid to injured veterans returning home from war. To join this effort, fans must "like" the page at www.facebook.com/granitetransformations.

Granite Transformations honors military veterans year round by offering service members a discount of 50 percent off the franchise fee, allowing veterans to use their training and operational skills in a new civilian career. In addition, Granite Transformations allows potential veteran franchisees to finance the other half of the franchise fee within a 12 month timeframe.

Also as part of Granite Transformations’ Mission: Lend A Hand, franchise locations around the country will also send the message of giving back by spearheading or participating in charitable endeavors of their choice this holiday season. These efforts will go a long way to say thank you to the communities that we serve, but to also inspire and motivate others to give back.

"Granite Transformations wants to thank the communities we serve by working alongside charitable organizations doing great work," said Carl Griffenkranz, vice president, marketing for Granite Transformations. "Based on our growing success as a leading home remodeling company, this is a great opportunity for Granite Transformations to give back and show our gratitude."

Granite Transformations is most recognized for its exclusive line of granite, stronger and more durable than slab granite, as well as stylish recycled glass surfaces. The company also offers an impressive line of mosaic tile in a variety of styles and colors. Granite Transformations products can be professionally installed in as little as one day and are accompanied by a lifetime warranty. Customers also enjoy Granite Transformations’ complimentary in-home design consultations, which allow them to choose products from the comfort of their own home.
