Moe’s Southwest Grill Staten Island Grand Opening

Staten Island, NY - November 11, 2013 – "Welcome to Moe’s!" will soon be heard throughout Staten Island when Moe’s Southwest Grill opens at 262 Arden Avenue on Thursday, Nov. 14.

"We are excited to open yet another Moe’s to make it even easier for Staten Islanders to get our fresh, made-to-order meals in a fun and family-friendly environment," said Franchise Partner Joe McAllister.

McAllister opened the first Staten Island Moe’s Southwest Grill back in 2006 and after finding much success with the Hyland Boulevard location, decided to open a second restaurant on Arden Avenue.

Ranked #1 Mexican food concept by Technomic in 2013, Atlanta based Moe’s Southwest Grill’s serves fresh made-to-order burritos and southwest fare in a fun and laid back environment. All meals, including signature items like the Homewrecker burrito, Close Talker salad and John Coctostan quesadilla, are served with free chips and salsa. While Moe’s is best known for its burritos packed with a choice of over 20 fresh ingredients, the menu also features kid’s, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-friendly options.

Guests can also try the new Coca-Cola Freestyle® soda fountain. The sleek, stylish new fountains are touch screen operated, enabling consumers to select from more than 100 regular and low-calorie beverage brands – including more than 70 diet, low-calorie and 90 caffeine-free beverages, 80+ unique brands offered nowhere else, as well as many varieties of waters, sports drinks, lemonades and sparkling beverages that, prior to the arrival of Coca-Cola Freestyle, were not available in the U.S.

This location will offer a Joey Tuesday special which includes any burrito, chips and salsa and a 22 oz. drink for only $6.49. Kid’s Eat Free Day on Wednesdays from 5 p.m. to close with the purchase of an adult entrée.

Moe’s in Staten Island will be open from Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m and on Sunday from noon to 9 p.m. For more information guests may call (347) 562-4850.
