Medifast Franchisees to Expand Weight Control Centers

Nationwide Expansion will Include New Locations in Alabama, California, Florida, Louisiana, Tennessee and Washington

OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Nov. 18, 2013 // PRNewswire // - Medifast, Inc. (NYSE: MED), a leading United States manufacturer and provider of clinically proven, portion-controlled weight-loss products and programs, today announced formal agreements with its current franchise partners to add 37 Medifast Weight Control Centers in six states nationwide over the next three years.
