Flippers Pizzeria Announces Two New Future Store Openings

November 21, 2013 // Franchising.com // Orlando, FL - Flippers Pizzeria has announced two new locations scheduled to open later this year in both Orlando and Tampa, continuing its mission of sharing "fresh, honest ingredients" with hungry customers throughout Florida.

According to Kelly Pfister, Marketing Director at the Orlando pizzeria, a new corporate-owned store will be opening at 11062 International Drive near SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida, and a brand new franchisee-owned store will soon open at Palms of Carrolwood at 13149B North Dale Mabry Hwy in Tampa, Florida. "These two new openings bring our grand total of Florida pizza restaurants to fifteen," said Pfister.

The new Orlando pizza location will serve thousands of visitors and residents in Orlando’s major tourist and convention corridors. International Drive, commonly known as I-Drive, is home to the Orange County Convention Center, Pointe Orlando, Wet ‘n Wild water park, museums, attractions, bars, restaurants, hotels, boutiques, and shopping outlets. "The location for our new corporate store was carefully researched and selected for its central proximity to area hotels and tourist destinations," said Ben Richardson, VP of Operations at Flippers Pizzeria.

Gerard & Bonnie Pickhardt, principals at Watch These Franchises Grow!™, are the proud new owners of the new Tampa location, scheduled to open in early November. The new Florida pizza franchise will be located in the center of what’s considered the largest affluent concentration in the Tampa Bay MSA-Palms of Carrollwood. "We are very excited about the upcoming opening, and we remain committed to continuing our Flippers brand expansion throughout Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties over the next eight years," said the Pickhardts.
