Local Resident Opens First Indianapolis Metal Supermarkets Store

Small quantity metals supplier adds second Indiana franchise location.

Indianapolis, Ind. (PRWEB) November 21, 2013 - Metal Supermarkets®, the world’s largest supplier of small quantity metals, opened its second franchise store in Indiana on November 18, the 67th location in the franchise network. Indianapolis resident Jesse Johnson will be providing area businesses and consumers with superior customer service and the highest quality metal products available at his Metal Supermarkets Indianapolis East store located at 3250 North Post Road, suite 102, Indianapolis, Ind., 46226. Customers can buy any size or type of metal they need, quickly and easily, and with no minimum order requirement.

"We are excited to introduce Metal Supermarkets to Indianapolis and look forward to working with Jesse to further expand the Metal Supermarkets brand," says Stephen Schober, Metal Supermarkets President and CEO. "With so much industry in the greater Indianapolis area, the Indianapolis East store is in a great position to thrive."

A native Hoosier, Johnson knows Indiana. He grew up in the Fort Wayne area and moved to Indianapolis as a teenager. After graduating from Indiana University he worked as a foreman for a local Public Works department and in the automotive industry before opening his Metal Supermarkets store. With his practical, hands-on approach Johnson wanted a business that he could actively be involved on a daily basis. Johnson is passionate about building relationships with businesses and relishes the role of solution provider. With his customer service focused team, Johnson is excited to see what challenges will be coming his way.

"Being just two minutes from I-70 and I-465 on North Post Road the store is easily accessible from all parts of Indianapolis, ensuring that you will be able to get to our location quickly and be back to your project in no time at all" says Johnson.

"I am excited to be leading the way in Indianapolis and to be in the position of being able to meet the demand for cut-to-size metals. We are excited to be providing services to a diverse market, from the weekend warrior doing small projects around the house, to busy contractors and even large maintenance and construction projects."

Currently, Johnson employs two full-time staff members. If business goes as planned, they will be hiring another person by the first quarter of 2014. They also plan to open more franchises in the Indianapolis area.
