ActionCOACH Named One of Top 100 Veteran Franchises for 2013

Largest Business Coaching Company in the World Recognized for Terrific Work with Veterans

November 22, 2013 // Franchising.com // Las Vegas - ActionCOACH has been named one of the Top 100 Veteran Franchises in 2013 by Franchise Business Review. It’s an incredible honor for ActionCOACH, who have made a concerted effort to recruit veterans as part of the company’s franchise model.

"Veterans have a commitment to service and community that fits in very well with the ActionCOACH system," ActionCOACH Founder and President Brad Sugars said. "We are very proud of the work we’ve done to make veterans a part of our franchise in every way possible and we look forward to helping more and more veterans get their start helping their communities at home as ActionCOACH Business Coaches."

ActionCOACH is a world leader in business and executive coaching. When Sugars started the company in 1993, the concept of business coaching was still in its infancy. By franchising the company in 1997, Sugars helped business coaching become a more mainstream industry. ActionCOACH specializes in coaching small to medium sized businesses as well as executive teams and group coaching.

"When you factor in the discipline, hard work and love of community that veterans have, many of them are natural business coaches. Few people work as hard, and as smart, as veterans do and each one who has become a part of the ActionCOACH system has been a terrific resource for their community and business owners in general."

ActionCOACH has always been committed to working with veterans, but the company stepped up its efforts in 2011 and 2012 with its Free Franchise for the Forces program which offered franchises to veterans without them having to layout the company’s franchise fee. It was a terrific program that many veterans took advantage of and a great way for ActionCOACH to show its respect and admiration for all that veterans do.

"Free Franchise for the Forces really brought some terrific coaches into ActionCOACH and we are very proud of the results we got from that program. Today, some of those veterans rank among our top coaches, which really isn’t a surprise," Sugars said.

According to the report from the Franchise Business Review, ActionCOACH earned its spot among the best of the best through a combination of its commitment to veterans along with the satisfaction of the company’s franchisees.

"It makes sense that brands focused on overall franchisee satisfaction would also have high satisfaction among franchisees who are veterans," Franchise Business Review said.
