Background

Friday, the Ronald McDonald House holds an annual fundraiser that does the holiday baking for hundreds of Central Ohio families.

On Wednesday, Max & Erma's brought in the heavy machinery to help make this fundraiser a sweet success. Its Bakery Truck will pull up at 11 am on Wednesday the 20th to deliver 2,500 cookies and 100 pies (Pumpkin, Pecan and Silk).

Its annual Bake Sale is one of the organization's most popular fundraising evens of the year. In addition to supporting the Bake Sale, Max & Erma's is hosting its own in-restaurant fundraiser for the Central Ohio Ronald McDonald House. Cookie fans can take home a bakers' dozen for $12.29 (you can mix and match any Max & Erma's cookie flavors) and for every box sold, Max & Erma's will donate $1 to the Ronald McDonald House. Max & Erma's is hoping to raise $20,000 through this fundraiser.
