Weichert Workforce Mobility Expands Global Presence and Local Expertise With Latin America Operation

November 11, 2013 - Weichert Workforce Mobility, one of the world’s leading workforce mobility management companies-today announced the opening of its Latin America Center of Excellence. This Center of Excellence represents the latest step in the growth of the company’s strategic global presence, coming on the heels of the opening of a new Weichert office in Singapore earlier this year.

Conveniently located in the heart of Miami’s Blue Lagoon business district, Weichert’s Latin America Center of Excellence will provide full relocation and assignment management services as well as local destination assistance to inbound, outbound and intra-regional assignees. It will also better position the company to support the increasing number of employees being relocated into the region for business and manage on-the-ground suppliers.

This Center of Excellence will be overseen by Gustavo Higuera, regional vice president, who joined Weichert in 2012. A fluent Spanish, Portuguese and English speaker, Higuera has over 20 years of experience helping companies successfully deploy and manage mobile workforces throughout Latin America.
