Pearse’s background has helped him to understand how to run a business and satisfy clients. His experience includes everything from owning a small family sandwich shop to running a food service business with a $22 million budget.

"I’ve painted every apartment and house I’ve lived in for the last 34 years, so I know what it takes. I’ve been in food service for 40 years, but I wanted to get out of the rat race and work for myself. I knew I wanted to work hard for myself and have a way to make a difference in my community. My fellow Fresh Coat owners in the area and I are looking forward to getting more involved, especially with projects like Habitat for Humanity. We think that’s important," he said.

Pearse and his wife Lauren, who works for The American Red Cross, have two teenage sons. He’s also excited to be coaching in the Brookwood Basketball Association and serving as a board member and commissioner of the 13/14 league.
