FCI Owner Jim Fitlow Named One of America’s Top 100 Remodelers

Mutli-Unit, Multi-Concept Franchisee Ranked No. 77 By Professional Remodeler Magazine

December 09, 2013 // Franchising.com // Salt Lake City, UT - Jim Fitlow, a franchisee of Floor Coverings International (FCI), Re-Bath and HomeStory, has been ranked as one of America’s Top 100 Remodelers for 2013 by Professional Remodeler Magazine. Fitlow’s company was ranked No. 77 by the magazine.

"This award recognizes the efforts and strength of our team and our brands," said Fitlow. "What’s even better is that our partners in Idaho also made the list. It must mean we’re doing something right!"

Fitlow opened his first franchise in Salt Lake City in 2001 and today owns five FCI locations in Utah and two in Colorado; one Re-Bath location in Utah and two in Colorado; and four HomeStory locations in Utah and six in Colorado. He is glad he made the decision to partner with established franchise brands to grow his remodeling business. "Being part of a franchise allows you to be part of a team, versus running a marathon by yourself. Team sports are more enjoyable," he explained. While Fitlow has been ranked in Qualified Remodeler Magazine’s Top 500 for the past few years with his Re-Bath brand, this is the first award from Professional Remodeler Magazine.
