Masala Wok® Opens Fourth Location in Dallas Area

Fast Casual Indian & Asian Concept Celebrates its 11th Location, Continuing its Strategic Expansion in the Southwest Region

December 09, 2013 // Franchising.com // DALLAS, TX – Masala Wok’s "Aromatic Spices & Sizzling Stir Fry" is now available at a fourth location in the greater Dallas, Texas area. The fast casual Indian and Asian chain announced today the opening of its newest restaurant at 6106 Luther Lane in Dallas.

The new Dallas location is owned and operated by Masala Wok Holdings and is the sixth corporate-owned restaurant out of eleven total locations across Texas and Virginia. The company expects strong consumer interest to continue in the Dallas market as it looks to build its brand to fuel further expansion in the area. Masala Wok previously announced the opening of their tenth location in Sugarland, Texas in October 2013.

"Our fans in Dallas have spoken: ‘We want more locations to visit!’ And we have listened," said Pramod Prodduturi, Masala Wok’s President. "We are delighted to announce the opening of our Luther Lane location to satisfy their appetite for our unique aromatic spices and sizzling stir fry." Masala Wok’s menu features the best of traditional Indian meals and the most appetizing and widely popular Asian fare. Traditional Indian dishes include meats and breads cooked in tandoor (clay oven) and curries prepared with fresh "Masala" (ground spices). Asian dishes are prepared with fresh vegetables, meats, and sauces stir fried in a wok. Masala Wok’s guests can choose from a wide variety of meats, fish, and vegetarian options, as well as an array of vegan and gluten-free selections.
