Baby Boot Camp® Mother Love Fitness Challenge Names Girls on the Run® as its Official Charity for 2014

Stroller Fitness Program Opens Registration For Annual Challenge To Find America’s Fittest Mom

Dec. 5, 2013 - Just in time for that New Year’s Resolution to wear off, innovative stroller fitness program Baby Boot Camp is helping moms from across the country get in the best shape of their lives with the Mother Love Fitness Challenge. And for 2014, Baby Boot Camp has announced it will donate $2 for every Mother Love Fitness Challenge registration purchased through May 31, 2014 to the charity Girls on the Run. "We are so excited to support Girls on the Run, which promotes fitness and healthy body images," said Kristen Horler, Baby Boot Camp Founder & CEO. "More than 90 percent of our owners and instructors are also moms, who understand the importance of raising healthy, happy children."

The 12-week Mother Love Fitness Challenge, which launches Feb. 2, 2014, focuses on building core stability, cardiovascular health, total body strength and healthy nutrition habits. In 2013, more than 850 women participated in the Challenge.

Local weekly Challenge winners will qualify to win national prizes from sponsors including ZICO®, Happy Family® and CalNaturale Svelte®. Overall local winners will be entered for the grand prize: a Mountain Buggy® stroller. In addition to the prizes, each MOLO participant will receive the following:

  • Before-and-after body assessments
  • Access to private challenge content, including weekly videos and a private Facebook group
  • Challenge t-shirt

Instructed by nationally certified fitness professionals, Baby Boot Camp provides fitness and nutrition programs for moms. The stroller fitness classes consist of cardiovascular drills and strength-training exercises to get moms fit while spending time with their little ones.

Girls on the Run is a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.
