Opening in December, DIA travelers will be among first in the nation to experience Wetzel Pretzel’s delicious hand-rolled, super premium soft pretzels served warm at the airport. Though the chain has restaurants in such premium locations as Disneyland and Disney World, this is its first airport location in Colorado.

The first Wetzel’s Pretzels in a U.S. airport is Atlanta-based CI’s tenth joint venture at DIA, also operating restaurant concepts in Concourses A and C. The company has targeted the airport, currently in the second phase of a $500 million dollar long-term expansion plan, for other future growth, looking to expand its commitment to showcasing brands that are local and exclusive.
