INDIANAPOLIS - Dec. 3, 2013 - Hoosier Hospitality Group (HHG) announced the opening of two Another Broken Egg Café restaurants in New Orleans. The first, opening in January, will be located at 2917 Magazine Street; a café located on 607 Harrison Ave. will open in February.
"New Orleans is very special to us," says HHG President, Kevin Armantrout. "I’m thrilled to bring this unique breakfast and lunch concept to a pace we call home." Armantrout was born and raised in New Orleans; his co-executives of HHG have also lived and worked in New Orleans.
The New Orleans locations will be the first ABE Café units to operate dinner hours. Armantrout and his team engineered the first ABE Café dinner menu, with agreement from Another Broken Egg of America. The dinner menu will include new items such as Steak & Potatoes, Redfish Etouffee, Southern Meatloaf and Baked Chicken Wings, along with traditional favorites from ABE Café’s regular menu.
Hours of operation for both locations are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday and Monday.
Hoosier Hospitality Group is best known for owning and operating five Ruth’s Chris Steak House restaurants in Indianapolis, St. Louis and South Bend, Ind. The franchise group signed an agreement with Another Broken Egg of America in 2012 to open 16 of ABE Café restaurants in Indiana, Kentucky and New Orleans by 2023.
