Rhythm Time Music Franchise in Cheshire Helps to Fund 'Giggle Doctors' for Manchester Children's Hospital

Rhythm Time music franchise in Cheshire have recently held 92 pyjama parties at their music classes for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers to raise money for Manchester Children's Hospital.

Solihull, West Midlands (PRWEB UK) 27 December 2013 - It's been another successful fundraising year for Rhythm Time in Cheshire. Amongst several fundraising events during 2013, their latest has involved running 92 pyjama parties at their music classes to raise money for Manchester Children's Hospital.

Frances Donkin, award-winning Rhythm Time music franchise owner in Cheshire, and her teachers have supported this event for the last few years. This year, their aim was to raise money to help finance 'Giggle Doctors' to go round the wards and entertain the young patients.

"To raise the money, we had 1200 children throughout Cheshire and Staffordshire attending their regular music classes in their pyjamas," said Frances. "They had fun playing instruments, dancing, singing and some even had a visit from Humphrey, the hospital's mascot," she adds.

Through the generosity of the parents and carers attending Rhythm Time, Frances and her team managed to raise a total of £1270 for the cause. They had the pleasure of presenting a cheque to Angela Rowe, Community Fundraising Manager at the Hospital.

Rhythm Time, established in 1995 by musician and teacher, Kathy Doolan, provides multi-sensory and educational music classes for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. Now, a national organisation with franchises throughout the country, Rhythm Time's children's music courses were created to enhance a young child's development by using music to stimulate every part of their brain.

Through a variety of fundraising events, the Company supports many local children's charities across the UK each year.
