Miracle-Ear Foundation Partners with Miracle-Ear to Fit 1st Local Resident with Hearing Aids

Miracle-Ear of Mesa Commits to Supporting the Miracle-Ear Foundation

Mesa, AZ (PRWEB) January 03, 2014 - Miracle-Ear® of Mesa, a part of the nationwide hearing solution franchise, partnered with the Miracle-Ear Foundation to provide James the gift of sound.

James, local resident, had worn hearing aids for many years; however, the fit was not correct so they were constantly falling out and the sound quality was very poor. At home, James’s family would get frustrated because they always had to repeat themselves and speak up. James would also get aggravated because he couldn’t understand what his loved ones were trying to communicate to him. His hearing loss was truly straining his well being.

That’s when James saw a Miracle-Ear TV advertisement and decided to get his hearing checked. The hearing test confirmed he had a hearing loss in both ears and hearing aids were again a viable solution. However, new hearing aids were beyond his budget. Jennifer Salisbury, Miracle-Ear Hearing Instrument Specialist, suggested he apply to the Miracle-Ear Foundation. Upon approval, James was fit with donated hearing aids and gifted life-time aftercare.

In partnership with local franchisee, Bob Baber, and his staff, the Miracle-Ear Foundation, a Minneapolis-based non-profit organization, supports underserved adults and children across the country with their hearing healthcare needs. The Miracle-Ear Foundation, working with Miracle-Ear centers across the country, has donated more than 6,500 hearing aids to over 4,100 individuals nationwide, including the aids donated to Michael. James’s hearing aid fitting marks Bob’s commitment to supporting the Foundation throughout all of his owned and operated Arizona stores.

"The Miracle-Ear Foundation’s ability to provide hearing aids to underserved community residents is truly remarkable," said Salisbury. "And being able to give the gift of sound to James this holiday season was a life changing opportunity."
