The Dairy Queen® System Recognizes Galliker Dairy with Distinguished

January 04, 2014 // Franchising.com // JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – Galliker Dairy in Johnston, Pa. has been named Dairy of the Year by the Dairy Division of American Dairy Queen Corporation (ADQ).

A 15-year strategic dairy partner of the Dairy Queen® system, Galliker Dairy received the top score on product quality, customer service and system support to receive the Dairy of the Year Award. Galliker revised its program to reduce costs in existing distribution areas as well as expand to additional distribution areas at a reduced price.

"The dairies we work with are obviously very important to the success of our treat business," said Roger Hubbard, Chief Supply Chain Officer at International Dairy Queen (IDQ). "As the treat category leader, we expect our dairies to adhere to the highest quality standards. Galliker Dairy consistently exceeds our very stringent guidelines."

This award is one of several presented annually to recognize partners that provide excellent service and support to the more than 4,400 Dairy Queen and DQ Grill & Chill® locations in the United States.
