New Caring Transitions Family Business Designed to Help Other Families through Transitions, Relocations

Chesterfield, VA (PRWEB) January 10, 2014 - Lance Davis and Bea Koppers are excited to start the New Year with a new role in the community as the owners of the Caring Transitions of Chesterfield and Powhatan, Virginia.

Caring Transitions offers customized moving and relocation services for seniors who are moving to a smaller home, back in with family or into a senior community. The company also specializes in full and partial liquidations, staging homes for sale, interviewing potential realtors, and helping clients resettle in their new home.

"As a former Executive for one of the largest long-term care insurance companies in the United States, I have a good understanding of the challenges seniors face as they move into and through retirement. Caring Transitions gives us the opportunity to leverage my prior experience in a new business that provides an important service at an important time in a person's life," Lance said.

"We decided on Caring Transitions because it is a reputable brand with a corporate staff that is focused on adding value to people's lives. The organization is committed to providing a quality service and we were impressed with the collaborative spirit between franchisees," he added.

Lance will be running the business along with his wife of 25 years, Bea, formerly a Radiologic Technologist who is returning to the workforce.

"Lance's parents live in NY and my parents live in the Netherlands. We both know how hard it can be to care for and help Parents as they get older especially when they are far away," Bea said. "This is truly going to be a family run business and we're looking forward to the chance to continue to live in, work in and serve our communities of Chesterfield and Powhatan counties."

In addition to owning and operating their new small business, Lance and Bea will continue to be involved in the community – Lance volunteers with Junior Achievement and is a volunteer insurance consultant for the Richmond Performing Arts Foundation and Bea volunteers at the local elementary school and is a substitute teacher at a local pre-school.
