Sub Zero Ice Cream Stores Improve Operations Under New Management

Three different Sub Zero Ice Cream locations throughout the country are now under new management. The changes will bring new goals and improvements that could benefit the entire company.

Provo, UT (PRWEB) January 10, 2014 - Three Sub Zero Ice Cream & Yogurt stores are now under new ownership heading into the New Year. With 30 locations currently operating, Sub Zero welcomes change and feels the new owners of the Murray, Utah; Sarasota, Fla., and Spanish Fork, Utah stores will make a big difference in 2014.

Doug Shenk and Jill Sheeler-Shenk in Sarasota, Fla. currently own a store in Siesta Key Village and manage southwest Florida as Area Developers. Last December they took over ownership of the other Sub Zero on Clark Rd. in Sarasota, Fla.

"We have always had a goal of owning multiple stores," said Jill. "Buying the Clark Rd. store allowed us to step into an already established market without having to deal with delays for the permitting and construction."

With the Siesta Key location as a tourist destination, the Shenks are excited to explore school presentations, fundraising and catering within the residential demographic. Since the stores are so close to each other, marketing will also be more effective with both stores united.

Justin and Mignon Farman took over the Murray, Utah location after enjoying the Sub Zero experience of a nearby store with their family many times. With a background in property management in South Africa, the Farmans are excited to explore the Sub Zero concept further as new owners.

"The concept is more than just serving a desert, to us it is entertainment too," said Justin. "The texture of the ice cream is so smooth, while the variety offered is more than was available at other ice cream stores."

The Farmans plan to improve the Murray location with quality customer service and increased awareness in their area. A few cities south in Spanish Fork, Utah, Ron and Mary Spann, who locals might recognize from Sub Zero concessions, are now the owners of the Sub Zero Ice Cream store. In addition to gourmet, liquid nitrogen ice cream, the Spanish Fork store offers a variety of food items made fresh from the grill. Customers can now enjoy a delicious dessert with their fresh fries and unique scone burger that is now a local favorite.
