Coverall Recognized for its Outstanding Female Leadership

Women in Business Gold Stevie Award Reflects Coverall's Industry-Leading Innovation

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. - Jan. 13, 2014 // PRNewswire // - Coverall Health-Based Cleaning System®, a leading franchisor of commercial cleaning businesses, has been named a gold Stevie® Award winner in the "Website of the Year" sub category of the 10th Annual Women in Business Awards.

Coverall's corporate website, launched in fall 2012 as part of the company's sales and marketing integration initiative, was selected a gold winner from more than 1,200 nominations submitted. Coverall VP of Marketing Diane Emo and her team's mission was to establish integrative marketing platforms to educate and support Coverall franchised business owners, their customers, prospective customers and industry advocates.

As a supplementary information and education source, the company's blog was rebranded as the Coverall CleanFeed in June 2013 and regularly delivers small-business tips, commercial cleaning industry updates and interesting facts about creating and maintaining a healthy work environment.

In addition to Emo serving as vice president of marketing, more than 36 percent of Coverall's 9,000 independent franchise owners are women. Moreover, the roles of CFO, vice president of operational development, vice president of human resources, two of three regional vice presidents of operations and one of two regional vice presidents of sales are held by women.

The Coverall marketing team members who created and maintain the website are also mostly women as well. They include Emo, Kim Dailey, manager of franchise marketing, Ryan Nacht, manager of sales and marketing operations, Sima Taslimi, communications manager and Natalia Rex, sales and marketing operations coordinator.

"Not only do we have inspiring female leaders on our marketing team, we are lucky to have outstanding women at all levels in the Coverall system," said Coverall CEO Rick Ascolese. "The recognition of our marketing team reflects our dedication to finding the best tools to support Coverall franchise owners and their customers and to provide important information about maintaining healthy working environments. We are very proud of this honor."

More than 1,200 nominations from organizations of all sizes and individuals in 16 nations were submitted this year for consideration. Coverall's latest gold Stevie® Award joins the company's numerous 2013 Stevie recognitions, including a bronze Stevie for Support Development of the Year and a silver Stevie awarded to Michael Gumiela, Coverall's regional vice president of sales, for National Sales Executive of the Year.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business is an international competition produced by The Stevie, producers of the world's premier business award. Stevie Award winners are selected by more than 130 executives nationwide who participate in the judging process.
