Hurricane Grill & Wings Announces News Location In New York

January 13, 2014 // Franchising.com // WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Hurricane Grill & Wings, a family-friendly restaurant known for its tropical ambiance is now open in Lindenhurst. Today’s opening marks the seventh Long Island region location, furthering the Florida-based chains expansion in New York.

"Hurricane Grill & Wings has seen great success at our other Long Island locations and are thrilled to continue growing our presence in the area," said Martin O’Dowd, President of Hurricane Grill & Wings. Lindenhurst suffered devastating damage during Hurricane Sandy and franchise owner Steve Critelli’s, who also owns a Hurricane Grill & Wings location in Hauppauge, hopes to be part of the areas revival.

"In the reconstruction after Hurricane Sandy, residents are looking to new restaurants and businesses to uplift spirits and return to normalcy. Hurricane Grill & Wings newest location features an indoor dining room that seats up to 175, an outdoor patio that seat up to 60 as well as a "Surf Shack" with seating for 50, available for private parties or meetings. Sports fans will enjoy watching their favorite games while enjoying an array of cocktails, wines and locally crafted brews, with regional offerings from Blue Point and Great Bay breweries.

Menu items include award winning, never frozen Jumbo Wings; savory appetizers such as Manhattan Harbor Conch Chowder as well as Garlic & Parmesan French Fries; Caribbean Grilled Chicken, Island Grilled Shrimp and a wide assortment of delicious entrees. Guests of Hurricane Grill & Wings can enjoy topping off any of their dining choices with more than 35 flavors of sauces and rubs.
