Caring Transitions Family Business Designed to Help Other Families through Transitions, Relocations

Vince and Patience McCollum recently launched Caring Transitions of West Denver Suburbs.

Arvada, CO (PRWEB) January 14, 2014 - For Vince and Patience McCollum, their new Caring Transitions franchise is all about their family helping other families in need.

"When we help a family with their transition and relocation needs, we find that we really become a temporary part of that family. While there’s an overall plan, we change our services to meet the specific needs of each client and since most of our employees are our family members, it’s really our family helping your family," Vince said.

Caring Transitions of West Denver Suburbs specializes in customized transition and relocation planning. The McCollums can help with everything from home organization and staging for resale to estate sales, online estate auction services and moving coordination. Caring Transitions of West Denver Suburbs serves Arvada, Golden, Lakewood and Blackhawk Colorado.

Vince and Patience both have strong business backgrounds and years of experience in project management, team leadership and client satisfaction. While Patience is involved in the family’s company, she continues to work in accounting for a local health care company. For Vince, Caring Transitions is a chance to start an encore career as an entrepreneur.

"I was laid off from my material coordinator position and then, after working with a career coach, decided that what I really wanted to do was open my own business. We did a lot of research and Caring Transitions really seemed like a great fit," Vince said. "Caring Transitions has offered us the opportunity to serve and assist seniors and their families through a potentially stressful time in their lives," Vince said.

In addition to their work with Caring Transitions, Vince and Patience have raised three children and are very active in the community. Vince, a Colorado native who has lived both north and south of the city, coached little league baseball and both he and Patience spent many years involved in Boy Scouts. Now that they are working with seniors, the two have been spending time with senior organizations and are looking to be more involved in the west Denver community as small business owners.
