Couple Opens New Painting Business and Focuses on Quality, Customer Service

(PRWEB) January 16, 2014 - Randy and Karen Ferrie are excited to announce the opening of their new business, Fresh Coat Painters of South Bend. With much consideration The Ferries decided to make this a women-owned business, with Karen as the owner handling the business administration and Randy as the President to run the day-to-day operations.

Before launching this new small business, Randy spent 23 years working in the window coverings business and eventually moved to working on windows in RVs, but the work slowed during the recession and never quite recovered. So recently he and his wife Karen, who has been in the insurance business for 30+ years, decided it was time to look into opening their own franchise.

"As we did our research, Fresh Coat always came to the top. We’re looking forward to providing great, quality service to our customers and changing how they think about the painting industry," Karen said.

Fresh Coat Painters offers residential and commercialpainting services including interior and exterior painting, wood staining and finishing, and other services for nearly every protective coating application. They use quality, environmentally safe materials and offer a 24/7 customer service center, online scheduling and detailed quotes. Fresh Coat of South Bend serves the Michiana area of northern Indiana.

"I want people to know that we’ve hired very skilled craftsmen to work at Fresh Coat of South Bend. Everyone can paint, but not everyone is a painter. Randy and Karen have been married 34 years and they have three daughters Chelsea, Cote, Carley and were just blessed with their first granddaughter Ella Jean. The Ferries are especially looking forward to the positive impact they’ll be able to make on the South Bend/Michiana community as business owners.
