The popular American fast-food chain known for its premium charbroiled 100 percent Black Angus beef Thickburgers® on Fresh Baked Buns, Made from Scratch Biscuits™ and Hand-Scooped Ice Cream Shakes opened its newest location this week. The new restaurant, operated by franchisee FYP Investments Inc., is the seventh Carl's Jr. location to open in British Columbia and the eighth in Canada; it is part of CKE's larger plan to expand the chain across Canada in the coming months and years. The Abbotsford restaurant, at 30770 Fraser Highway, Unit 5, is the third Carl's Jr. franchise location in the greater Vancouver area operated by FYP, which plans 25 additional stores over the next five years in Chilliwack, Vancouver, Langley and Surrey. FYP is one of eight franchisees developing the Carl's Jr. brand in Canada.
