Cabana Grill is a new concept created by San Antonio-based Taco Cabana, which has more than 170 company-owned and franchised restaurants in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico, and has served fresh, handmade Mexican cuisine for more than 35 years.
Cabana Grill's made-from-scratch offerings begin with fresh ingredients, such as vegetables that are chopped, roasted and blended by specially trained staff for flavorful, house-made salsas. The flour and corn tortillas are pressed by hand and grilled right in front of guests. Each batch of beans is prepared on-site with special seasonings and vegetables, then simmered for hours.
Other made-to-order items include steak and chicken fajitas grilled over an open flame, as well as shredded pork carnitas and signature Shrimp Tampico. Guests can enjoy authentic beverage choices like Mexican Fanta and Coke with real cane sugar, or a selection of cold beers and tequila margaritas made with triple sec and fresh-squeezed lime juice.
