NYPD Pizza Expands into Orlando, FL

January 27, 2014 // Franchising.com // NYPD Pizza CEO, corporate staff, and franchisees, Jeff and Cheryl Longo announce the grand opening of the expansion to the Lake Cay Commons Shopping Center location (9900 Universal Blvd. Ste. 100 Orlando, FL 32819). This amazing restaurant is located just off State Road 528. NYPD Pizza is known for being a full service, family-friendly restaurant that also offers take-out, delivery, and catering to both home and office.

The Longo family has worked diligently to be successful despite Orlando’s tough economy. The Longo’s are also celebrating their fifth year in business operating as an NYPD Pizza franchise. They have had great success in this location and plan on adding additional stores in the greater Orlando area in the near future.
The full service restaurant has been a local favorite since they opened the doors five years ago. They are currently ranked the #1 pizzeria in Orlando on Trip Advisor and have ranked #19 out of nearly 3000 restaurants in Orlando. The menu features true, authentic New York pizza that is hand tossed and made from the highest quality ingredients. The dough is made fresh daily in the store and the pies are tossed right in front of the customers. The rest of the menu includes appetizers to include fresh-made garlic knots, wings, fried pickles (local fare) and more, fresh made salads, calzones, rolls, oven-baked sandwiches, and pasta dishes.

The expansion of the store doubles the size of the restaurant. The NYPD Pizza family is extremely excited about the expansion.
