The development agreements will expand Salon By JC's national footprint into 15 new states and introduce the company's business and franchise opportunity to major metropolitan areas such as Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York and Phoenix, among others.

With 13 locations already open and operating in Texas and Alabama, and more than 100,000 square feet of salon space, Salons By JC expects to open at least 50 new locations in 2014 and as many as 100 in 2015.
A salon suite is similar to a shopping mall. A mall owner puts the building together and leases it out to different businesses. A salon suite works the same way. Salons By JC franchisees can build from the ground up or build out space in a shopping center. Once the space is built, they can begin leasing to beauty and wellness practitioners – including hairstylists, nail technicians, facialists and massage therapists and others who provide services in a traditional salon.
The interior space – which ranges in size from 6,000 square feet to 10,000 square feet – is finished out with 30-60 private suites of various sizes. All of the rooms are fully outfitted with whatever supplies and accessories a beauty professional may need to be successful in business such as barber chairs, work desks, hair washing stations, sinks and towel cabinets. Each stylist has the freedom to design their own creative spaces and use the products they feel brings the highest quality to their clients.
Salons By JC typically operates at an occupancy rate of 95% or higher.
