The Limited Time Only Bacon Insider™ Burger Is a Bacon Lover’s Fantasy; Makes a "Moinking Awesome" Debut in New Ad

SAN DIEGO - January 30, 2014 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Bacon lovers, prepare for what can only be described as "moinking awesome." A bacon triple threat – the new Bacon Insider™ burger from Jack in the Box® restaurants – takes bacon to unprecedented levels with a craveable burger featuring a juicy beef patty with savory bacon pieces mixed right in, sandwiched in-between six half slices of hickory smoked bacon, and topped with a creamy bacon mayo sauce. And if that’s not enough, you also get lettuce, tomato and American cheese – all served on Jack in the Box’s new gourmet brioche bun.

The new Bacon Insider is so bacony-good it’s the star of the leading restaurant chain’s new commercial, created by Secret Weapon Marketing and debuting in regional ads starting Sunday, February 2, 2014, during the Big Game. The spot also features a little creature called a "Bork" (yes, the ultimate pig-cow mash up).

"What better way to honor America’s favorite pigskin tradition than by giving America a bacon burger unlike any they’ve ever tasted before," said Iwona Alter, Vice President of Menu Strategy & Innovation for Jack in the Box. The fun commercial will have fans saying "moink" as they get a look into Jack’s bacon-crazed farm featuring Curly Fry trees, a brioche bun barn and the Bacon Insider Bork: a memorable little pig complete with cow-like horns.
