Supergreen Solutions Debuts in Panama
Victor Ortiz Brings Green Energy Solutions to Residents and Businesses Alike
February 03, 2014 // Franchising.com // Panama City - Victor Ortiz is bringing SuperGreen Solutions to Panama. The country’s very first SuperGreen Solutions store will open for business Feb. 1 with a grand opening event scheduled for April 22, which is Earth Day. Ortiz is an experienced civil engineer and urban planner who also owns an engineering firm called VMORTIZ & Associates in Panama.
"I am thrilled to bring SuperGreen Solutions to my home country," said Ortiz. "As an urban planner I see an acute need in our cities and buildings for energy efficient products, for the benefit of the people and the environment."
SuperGreen Solutions is a single destination from which to shop green products for all aspects of residential or commercial use. The company offers a comprehensive approach, which includes sales, installation and after-sales service. It also provides in-home consultations to help customers make informed decisions about their purchases. Products range from LED lighting and solar power solutions to ventilation and insulation products for homes and businesses. Additionally, the company focuses on the booming industry surrounding energy management, energy storage and electric vehicle charge stations. Customers include home and business owners looking to lower their energy and maintenance costs through the use of a single product or by completely greening their home or business from head to toe. Commercial clients typically include auto dealerships, hair salons, gas stations, restaurants and bars, grocery stores, office buildings and more, as well as builders and contractors.
Ortiz, 34, has been a civil engineer for 10 years and received his doctorate in urban planning in 2011. He opened his engineering firm in 2008. In his work as an urban planner he began to notice the rapidly increasing demand for energy efficient products both for individuals and families as well as part of an infrastructural shift in city planning and construction. When he began looking into ways to expand his business to address that need he discovered SuperGreen Solutions and found it to be a perfect fit for his vision.
"By offering all the products both residents and businesses need to make their lives more energy efficient, we’re able to serve the community at large, not just little niches here and there," he explained. "I think alternative, renewable and efficient energies will help improve the economy and protect the environment."
Ortiz is targeting projects for high rise buildings, houses, residential developments, schools, hospitals, commercial center and government institutions. He has already been speaking with builders, developers, contractors and fellow engineers about opportunities for the future. He is also planning to expand his business quickly, adding two more locations in the next two years.
SuperGreen currently has 18 locations in nine states and is expanding internationally. The company has four additional locations under development, and is targeting California, Washington, Ohio, Indiana and Pennsylvania, among other strategic markets for growth. By the end of 2014, SuperGreen expects to have 70 stores open and plans call for a total of 300 locations within 3 to 5 years. For more information, visit www.supergreensolutions.com.
