CarePatrol Continues National Franchise Expansion in California

Cristie Burr matches families with top senior care facilities in San Jose.

San Jose, CA (PRWEB) February 05, 2014 - Cristie Burr has a veritable passion for helping others. In November 2013, she opened the San Jose, CA CarePatrol franchise to assist families who have come to the decision to place their family member in a senior living facility. CarePatrol provides free senior living placement services for seniors and families seeking care options at independent living, assisted living, nursing home, and Alzheimer’s and Dementia facilities.

Previously, Burr worked as the Marketing Manager for the non- profit The Khaled Hosseini Foundation, working with the United Nations refugee organization to build shelters for returning refugee families in Afghanistan and selling authentic handmade goods, produced by Afghan women, throughout the United States. The proceeds provide economic opportunities, education, and healthcare for women and children in Afghanistan. Burr still volunteers and supports the foundation in her free time.

Continuing on her lifelong pursuit to help others, Burr sought a new opportunity in the care field. With previous franchise experience, Burr researched new franchise opportunities with successful business models. CarePatrol is experiencing rapid national expansion, and is projected to reach one hundred and thirty franchises in 2014. Burr found that the corporate principals of CarePatrol meshed with her altruistic spirit.

CarePatrol franchisees tour the top graded facilities in their territories and present seniors with facilities that match their medical, financial, and location requirements. They complete comprehensive consultations, personally drive clients to facilities for tours, and even conduct follow up visits once the client is placed. Franchisees also work with local doctors, social workers, and senior resource programs in their territories to provide a complete plan of action for seniors and their families to consider when deciding to transition into senior housing.

"I love the freedom that comes with owning my own CarePatrol franchise," said Burr. "Working with families to place their loved ones is very rewarding."

Burr’s CarePatrol franchise territory covers San Jose, Los Gatos, Saratoga, Cupertino, and Campbell. However, Burr frequently works outside her territory, touring and researching assisted living residences, nursing homes, and other facilities in the surrounding areas to ensure her clients have the opportunity to consider every possible option to secure the right placement.

"Having the power to give families peace of mind when making such a difficult decision, makes this the most fulfilling endeavor I have ever pursued."
