Horsham, Pa. (PRWEB) February 05, 2014 - Cottman Transmission and Auto Care tuned up in 2013, ending the year with same-store sales that surpassed the previous year. Like a vehicle after a full-service, Cottman is running smoothly and has the necessary pieces to continue that success in 2014.
"We are entering the New Year with a renewed momentum," Cottman President Randy Wright said. "We’re excited to improve upon the success we experienced in 2013, and bring the dependability and expertise Cottman has displayed for a half-century to even more customers."
Part of the Cottman plan is to grow its presence in markets by re-opening Cottman centers in multiple cities that previously had closed – including locations in Las Vegas Atlanta and San Antonio, just to name a few. Cottman is interested in qualified franchisees to reopen those centers.
Another aspect of the plan for 2014 is an increased local digital presence, highlighted by a new KPI (key predictive indicator) program designed to identify characteristics shared by highly performing centers. This will allow Cottman to improve all centers throughout its system. Cottman also will launch a new digital-alert system to provide reminders to its customers regarding appointments and regular maintenance, as well as enhance and improve each center’s local website and expand its presence on social media.
"Cottman is a legacy brand with a proven reliability since the 1960’s, and Cottman is staying on the cutting edge of the digital age," said Derik Beck, Director of New Media. "With our commitment to a strong local digital presence, we are constantly creating new and inventive ways to make the entire Cottman experience as comprehensive and convenient as possible for our customers."
The brand currently operates more than 68 locations across the United States, and begins the year with many locations in development. The company is interested in devoted, hard-working, and driven men and women to deliver the Cottman brand’s commitment to customer service and quality work in local communities.
