Mainstream Boutique Fuels Undying Demand for Affordable Style in Florence

New Boutique Provides Ultimate Pairing of Contemporary Fashions with Economical Price Tags

February 05, 2014 // Franchising.com // Florence, SC. – Mainstream Boutique, a women's clothing and accessories franchise, is providing Florence's women an unparalleled shopping experience with its newest opening. From up-to-date fashions to the reliable service and advice, this affordable, on trend boutique is Florence's newest go-to destination where women leave looking and feeling their best.

With the buying power of large department stores, but the individuality of an independent boutique, Mainstream Boutique fills the space between the two, creating the best of both worlds for both shop owners and customers. Unlike large department stores that have huge volumes of merchandise, Mainstream Boutique's 1,500 square-foot locations have constantly updated inventory allowing customers to find new, on-trend items on a weekly basis.

Introducing the latest trends to Florence, local owner Kate Walker opened the doors to Mainstream Boutique just last month. Already experiencing an outpour of support from the community, consumers and neighboring businesses, Walker's new venture is off to a strong start. Prior to joining the Mainstream Boutique family, Walker had been working as a full-time pediatric critical care nurse at McLeod Regional Medical Center.

"I've always loved fashion and had a passion for the industry," said Walker. "Once I realized this was a career I could realistically pursue, Mainstream Boutique's proven business model and strong family-oriented system made the decision pretty easy. I'm already in the business of taking care of people. If I can put a smile on your face then I've done my job."

Mainstream Boutique has seen substantial growth, doubling in size while in a tough economy, proving themselves as a powerful force in today's $50 billion clothing store industry. Alongside its rising geographical footprint, Mainstream Boutique has experienced robust store sales, nearly doubling sales by the end of 2013 with over $11 million.

"We have an incredibly inspired group of franchisees who are so dedicated to a common goal, and we are excited Kate is now a part of the Mainstream family," said Marie DeNicola, president and CEO of Mainstream Boutique. "Because each owner's passion and dedication is what makes our brand successful, supporting them will always remain at the core of our function as a franchisor."

Florence's Mainstream Boutique located at 138 West Evans Street, is open Monday – Saturday from 10am – 6pm. For more information please call 843-799-4935 or visit www.mainstreamboutique.com.
