Hurricane Grill & Wings' new restaurants included locations in Iowa, New York, Georgia, Colorado, Texas, Alabama, Florida and more.
"We achieved considerable growth milestones in 2013; not only did we have 15 new openings, but we also signed seven new multi-unit development agreements, expanding the franchise even further," said Martin O'Dowd, president, Hurricane Grill & Wings. "With positive comp sales for the past 22 quarters, we are poised for another banner year in 2014."
Hurricane Grill & Wings expects to open 18 new units this year, in addition to a location in Lindenhurst, N.Y. that opened in January and the next in Cape Coral, Fla. in March. The rest will follow suit, opening in Florida, Minnesota, Texas, Alabama, Colorado, Georgia and Arizona as well as Virginia and Tennessee for the first time through year's end.
Generating significant business buzz, Hurricane Grill & Wings appeared in Entrepreneur's "Top 500 Franchises for 2014." They also earned a spot on Franchise Business Review's "Top 200 Franchise Systems for 2014."
