Realogy Honored Among 2014 Best Places to Work in New Jersey by NJBIZ

February 25, 2014 // Franchising.com // MADISON, N.J. 02-24-2014 - Realogy Holdings Corp., a global leader in residential real estate franchising and provider of real estate brokerage, relocation, and title and settlement services, has been named one of the Best Places to Work in New Jersey for the second consecutive year by NJBIZ. The survey and award program identifies, recognizes and honors the top places of employment in New Jersey that benefit the state's economy, its workforce and businesses.

"Being applauded by our own employees and recognized for the second year in a row by a neutral third party for our company's practices, philosophy and demographics represents a tremendous honor for Realogy," said Dave Weaving, Realogy's chief administrative officer. NJBIZ will honor this year's 100 Best Places to Work and announce the ranking during an awards dinner and ceremony on May 1, at the Hyatt New Brunswick.

The Best Places to Work in New Jersey program is made up of 100 companies split into two groups: 38 large-sized companies (more than 250 employees) and 62 small/medium-sized companies (15-249 employees. Realogy, which has approximately 1,500 employees in New Jersey, has been named one of the Best Places to Work in New Jersey in the large company category. Realogy has approximately 11,000 employees companywide.

Companies from across the state entered the two-part process to determine the 100 Best Places to Work in New Jersey. Part one consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. This phase was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. Part two consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This phase was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.

The overall registration and survey process was managed by Best Companies Group (BCG). BCG also analyzed the data provided and used their expertise to determine the final rankings. The program sponsors are: Gibbons P.C. and MetLife Solutions Group. The program is in partnership with Garden State Council SHRM and Employers Association of New Jersey.
