Free Saturday Sessions Featuring High-Intensity Interval Training Begin March 1 at Studios Nationwide

FT. Beginning March 1, every Orangetheory Fitness studio in the U.S. and Canada will offer a special free 60-minute session, every Saturday through April 26. Over the nine weeks of Free Session Saturdays, thousands of people will experience Orangetheory's heart-rate-based interval training revolution and burn more than 6,000,000 calories.

Free Session Saturdays participants will not only experience the interval-training workout that is sweeping the nation, they can also burn from 500 to 1000 calories in each 60-minute session (individual results will vary). The workout is designed to help burn additional calories post-workout, and produce results including weight loss of up to eight pounds per week. With 68 studios, approximately 1400 people will try the workout each week, burning nearly 700,000 calories each Saturday, for a grand total of more than 6,000,000 calories burned during the Free Session Saturdays period.

Orangetheory Fitness is affordable group personal training based on the science of afterburn. Participants use heart-rate monitors to maintain their personal target zone that stimulates metabolism and increases energy. Each unique 60-minute session combines high-intensity intervals of cardiovascular and strength training, producing a tremendous metabolic increase and burning up to 1000 calories per session, with extra calorie burn for up to 36 hours after each workout.
