Menchie's Reappears on the CBS Hit Series "Undercover Boss" with a Whole New Twist
CEO Amit Kleinberger Returns to the Small Screen with "Undercover Employee" on Friday, Mar. 7
March 03, 2014 // Franchising.com // LOS ANGELES – Menchie's (www.menchies.com) CEO, Amit Kleinberger, is back for a special episode of the CBS hit series "Undercover Boss" on Friday, Mar. 7 at 8 p.m./7 c. Kleinberger will be featured on the show's first ever "Undercover Employee" episode where an employee will don the disguise and covertly check-in on a select location.
Kleinberger, who was the youngest CEO to appear on the show, will now enlist a trusted team member to go undercover at a Menchie's location. With the assistance of his disguised employee, Kleinberger will checkup on one of his stores to see how they are doing after the past "Undercover Boss" episode which aired several months ago. Together, Kleinberger and his incognito employee will see if the location has kept up with Menchie's standards by continuing to exude the smiley culture.
"My last experience with 'Undercover Boss' changed my life and gave me an even deeper appreciation for all of the team members in our Menchie's family who work hard to promote our mission of making people smile," said Amit Kleinberger, CEO of Menchie's. To celebrate Menchie's second time on "Undercover Boss", viewers can text "MENCHIES" to 35350 during the show to receive a text offer for a free five ounce frozen yogurt. To redeem the free frozen yogurt, guests must present the offer on their phone in-store. The five ounce offer is only valid from Saturday, Mar. 8 through Sunday, Mar. 9 at participating Menchie's locations.
