Southern Fast-Casual Restaurant Concept to Open Additional Georgia Franchise

Marietta, GA (PRWEB) March 04, 2014 - Chicken Salad Chick, the nation’s newest, fast-casual restaurant concept, is scheduled to open its new franchise location in Marietta on March 18, 2014. The new restaurant will be located in Providence Square at 4101 Roswell Rd, Suite 811, Marietta, GA 30062.

"We are so excited to add this new location to the growing Chicken Salad Chick community throughout the Southeast," said Kevin Brown, president of Chicken Salad Chick. "It has been such a blessing to have franchisees join in sharing the Chicken Salad Chick experience with their own communities."

The Marietta restaurant is owned by franchisees Tom and Cheryl Melton, Don and Carol Schrader and Frank and Kay Lynne Mitchell of The Three Chicks, LLC. Because the women of this group are all related to founder Stacy Brown, they have a unique connection to this company. Their names are even featured in three of the fifteen flavors of Chicken Salad on the menu, making them famous among the Chicken Salad Chick Community.

Born In Alabama -- The Chicken Salad Chick concept was established in Auburn, Ala., in 2008 in the kitchen of founder, Stacy Brown. Stacy quickly learned that selling a homemade recipe from her kitchen is against the law, and after being shut down by the health department, she decided to solicit the business expertise of her future husband and fellow founder, Kevin Brown. Together, they opened a small takeout restaurant which quickly grew to enormous demand and additional locations. The unique concept offers customers a "custom-fit" chicken salad experience, with 15 original flavors to choose from, as well as gourmet soups, flavorful side salads and freshly-baked desserts. Chicken Salad Chick will be developing 85 franchises across the states of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, and North Carolina and South Carolina, and has plans to expand nationally in the next few years.
