New DQ Grill & Chill® Restaurant Opens in Moore

New restaurant serves up Dairy Queen® iconic soft-serve treats, flavorful foods and Orange Julius® offerings.

March 14, 2014 // Franchising.com // Moore, Okla. – The Dairy Queen® system has announced a new DQ Grill & Chill® restaurant opening at 2301 S. Telephone Road, conveniently located just ½ a mile from I-35. The new 2,600 square-foot location has added more than 50 new jobs, contributing to Moore’s employment growth. The new restaurant also will contribute to the state’s restaurant sales, which according to the National Restaurant Association are projected to increase by 3.7 percent this year.

"We are excited to open this DQ Grill & Chill restaurant in Moore and welcome the community in to enjoy our full menu of cravable food items, cool treats and Orange Julius® Premium Fruit Smoothies, Light Smoothies and Julius® Original drinks," said restaurant operator David Jones. "This new restaurant is sure to become a location where fans can gather to enjoy a great meal and treats."

The food menu features the quarter- and half-pound GrillBurgerTM made to order, as well as other delicious and unique food items, including deli-style Iron Grilled Sandwiches. Other menu offerings include Grilled or Crispy Chicken Sandwiches and Salads; Chicken Strip Baskets; Quesadillas and Chili Cheese Dogs.

The DQ system’s value meal, $5 Buck Lunch, is available daily from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at this location. Fans have a choice of a quarter-pound GrillBurger with cheese, 3-piece Chicken Strip Lunch or a Chili Cheese Dog, which are all served with fries, a beverage and choice of a sundae. For just $1 more, fans also will have the option to upgrade their small sundae to a small Blizzard® Treat.

The DQ Grill & Chill restaurant in Moore features DQ favorites, such as the iconic Blizzard Treats, MooLatte® frozen coffee-flavored beverages, DQ Cakes and a wide variety of other soft-serve items, as well as the full line of Orange Julius® fruit-blended beverages. All Orange Julius Premium Fruit Smoothies, Light Smoothies and Julius Original drinks are available in eight flavors including Orange, Strawberry, Strawberry Banana, Tripleberry®, Mango Pineapple, Berry Pomegranate, OrangeBerry and Piña Colada. The Orange Julius Premium Fruit Smoothies are fresh-blended to order with real fruit and low-fat yogurt. The Orange Julius Light Smoothies are 170 calories or less in a small size, contain no artificial sweeteners or flavors and are yogurt-free.

The restaurant can seat 88 guests inside, has outside seating and also offers a convenient drive-thru window.
