RE/MAX Suburban Saluted for Its 2013 Achievements

CHICAGO - March 13, 2014 – RE/MAX Suburban, which has real estate brokerage offices in the Chicago suburbs of Arlington Heights, Glen Ellyn, Libertyville, Mt. Prospect, Schaumburg and Wheaton, recently earned several honors for its 2013 achievements.

It captured the annual award given to the company in the RE/MAX Northern Illinois region that records the largest number of completed transactions and highest closed sales volume during the year. RE/MAX Suburban completed 3,532 transactions in 2013, and its closed sales volume totaled more than $880 million.

Layla El Said received the Technology Award for her exceptional work training RE/MAX Suburban affiliates on how to utilize the technological tools available to them to maximize their productivity. The strong commitment to technology that RE/MAX Suburban has demonstrated was further reflected in the fact that its website won an award for attracting the largest number of unique visitors of any multi-office website at www.illinoisproperty.com.

The charitable efforts of RE/MAX Suburban in support of the Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago were recognized in several ways. The company received the Outstanding Citizen Award, presented jointly by RE/MAX and the hospital. Last year, RE/MAX Suburban raised $31,632 for Lurie Children’s Hospital, the largest amount raised by any RE/MAX franchise in Northern Illinois. In addition, all RE/MAX Suburban offices earned the designation of Miracle Office from Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in recognition of their affiliates’ contributions.

RE/MAX offices in northern Illinois donated more than $160,000 to the hospital last year and have provided in excess of $2.5 million over the last two decades.
